Stephen Jody Works, a native of Alexandria, Virginia, now resides in Illinois. He got his start in acting the moment he saw people who looked like him take on roles that changed the way he understood storytelling, performances that showed him what it meant to craft a character authentically and make it entirely your own.

That inspiration has shaped every role he's taken on since. A SAG-Eligible actor trained under Kimberly Crandall of Actorsite and James Ciccone.

Stephen made his television debut on NBC's Chicago Fire (Season 13, Episode 19), acting opposite Hanako Greensmith and Jocelyn Hudon. He also starred in a short film, Theo, winner at the Universal Film Festival in Kansas City, Missouri.
